ALONE AGAIN

ALONE AGAIN

The nights that I remember
Were as long as they were cold
Until you changed my life
With the warmth of your hold

Your voice became my music
So calming and sweet
Enchanted by your melody
I fell in love with the beat

A warm beautiful nature
So sensitive and kind
If I ever fell down
You were never far behind

I was your knight in armour
With a fading metal sheen
Though a little rusted and worn
You proudly polished it clean

We loved each other dearly
Yet the Music faded away
As the seasons changed
Our shine dulled like clay

Now I'm all alone again
The warmth now all but cold
I'm clinging on with hope
To the memories that I hold....
