Alone in the dark

​Elm's street was a terrifying town, a

little boy who lived there feared to

 be alone in the dark.

A sudden blackout in the town, no lights

to be found made him scream his guts

out and panic with fear.

He hid under his blanket in the pitch 

black room, uttered, there is nothing

in the dark that is not there in the light.

He feared the boogie man in his closet,

the monsters in the basement, the 

unfriendly ghost in his mind and

Freddy Kruger of Elm's street.

He hated the dark, he realized his fear

gave the creatures the power to torment

and attack him, he fought against the

darkness and won ,he was not afraid

of the dark.
