Poem -

alone she was

alone she was

she once loved
and she once was loved

as it plays in the echoes of another line
octave above octave

while she wonders into wondering thoughts of doubts
so lingers in her mind
uneasy to every love

as whispering she was
as comfort to her silence
as she would so often pleadΒ 
to be heard to speak of love

which becomes a laughter to her SoulΒ 
now she knows of the heartΒ 
what love really endures

for days passed alone she was
alone she was
