AMANDA THE PANDA

AMANDA THE PANDA

I live in a zoo and you stare at me
I sleep on the ground and sometimes climb a tree
My colours they are black and white
I really am a loveable sight

You can call me by name it is Amanda
I am dear friends a giant and cuddly panda
If you like me and think that I'm cute
Pass me some leaves and the odd bamboo shoot

However don't whatever you do put me in a rage
I don't want to be locked up in a dirty cage

While I realize it's necessary for some species of animals to be placed in zoos due to possible extinction, I still find it sad they're not able to be home, in their native habitat, enjoying nature the way they were intended to enjoy it.
Mankind and its progress does have its drawbacks as well as its benefits.
Good aabb rhyme scheme, KIERAN1369.
Thanks for sharing.
