Amaterasu

A view, through evening mist
is perhaps
the kindest time of day to look
at her and see
what might otherwise be more
than her beauty ..
Just add a touch of candlelight
to catch a glimpse
of transient perfection, indeed,
the rim around
her halo shines brightest when
I close my eyes
tightly to take, all her radiance in ..
