"AMBERSAND" Christian Warrior...

During the dark ages, came a feral, feminine, soldier, she was a WOMAN WARRIOR
Known throughout the lands as........AMBERSAND!
She was a Christian soldier following God's commands.......

She retreated to the center of the hollow, Bow on her back, Sword in her hand
She hunted swiftly around the rim for some weakness in the surrounding band
And though she sent her perception as far as she could, there was no weakness
If her warriors were still alive, still fighting, they were blocked from her senses
As she grasped the utterness of her plight, she turned inward, into herself
She heard the voice of God, "Attack the northern edge fight through all of them!"
Without hesitation she jumped aboard her steed and charged a thousand men
She reached into her quill of golden spikes, and released a hundred arrows
Charging after them, she found the frightened horde as weak as sparrows
Scores of evildoers had arrows in their heads, as her horse flew over bodies
Riding harder, and slicing fleeing evil, she drove toward her imprisoned warriors
And within moments, she had cleaved through guards with furious fervor
Trembling, releasing her warrior friends, she fell soaking in the blood of evil
When the overwhelming scene caused everything to STOP!
The entire battle came to a surreal halt!
The light of God illuminated the field, and held her in it's glow
Warriors and evildoers alike seemed disoriented from the show
She forced herself to stand, leaning on her sword
The Light of God, lifted her in the air
Blood, dripping from her face, she held aloft her Blade
And in this brightness of reflection shot lightning everywhere
And with the flash of light, every evildoer
Simply lay down and died
The light faded, AMBERSAND lay upon the ground
And all the shocked and stunned warriors
Ran to her, screaming her name aloud
"AMBERSAND!"  "AMBERSAND!"
Had killed a thousand evil men
And in another brilliant moment
Ambersand was gone.....

But the legend still continues
She was a Christian Warrior
Known throughout the lands
As "GOD'S CHOSEN WIELDER OF LIGHT"
The woman soldier known as ...."AMBERSAND!"
