Poem -

America

They said the world was flat, nothing beyond the sea.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

The ambition of a single man, Brought life to what we know.

Peace to the natives, but it was all systems go.

If you think about how we became, a nation so strong.

It was by doing everything that was known to be wrong.

We murdered and stole, enslaved thousands of people.

Just to get ahead, a profit's what we reach for.

We are built on greed, a system so corrupt.

Still people remain blind and wonder what's the fuss.

We incarcerate for marijuana but Oxy is just fine.

Enforce our views in the name of freedom put soldiers on the line.

We say we're fighting communists but what do you think that is?

We are what we are fighting if you could see through the mist.

This country built on blood and greed from the start was set to fail

Now the debt just keeps on climbing and we swear we will prevail.

We are in the brink of collapse, there's nothing we can do.

Say goodbye to America, the red, white and blue.
