Amongst the wreckage.

The sea I guess would be as lonely if by chance you walked away

The lighthouse wouldn't be as bright, not by night anyway

I imagine your heart as longing, you know of mine and all it keeps

Amongst the wreckage of such things, love of course it weeps

I couldn't hold the tears back, when cold water reached my feet

Such things are inevitable and I just can't compete

Not for the likes of many but I fought as hard
For one

And you , you knew completely, it was my heart you'd won.
