Amorphous Beauty

Amorphous crystals spread generously onto black velvet

Capturing the gaze of curious longing eyes

With toes planted firmly in earth that was never mine

I raise greedy hands to the sky

A futile attempt to capture its essence

I want it all for myself

Hidden away in a secret pocket where in hopeless moments I can sprinkle it over my eyes

To erase the darkness and taint the picture,

To see the beauty in all the ugly

To take me to the place where you stand waiting

We will dance in merriment!

Embrace with hearts born of love!

And when we die to a life of eternity,

We shall become two more strewn across the black velvet
