Poem -

An Evening in Rain

An Evening in Rain

Quiet nights filled with dreams,
Politely interrupted by the shores of tears that fill the world.
At once, I am awoken to a brand new world,
A world in which barren lands are replaced with oceans,
A world of bliss,
Blossoming flowers that flicker in a pitter-patter dance in the dark film of sky.
Once again, I am asleep
To dream of her smile,
Standing on a Welsh bridge in the pouring rain,
With only tender lips to keep me afloat.
