Cradled in this crowded culture
The city cowers and crowds
The meaningful Icabods
With old horsemen
Reiterating half truths
And secretarial pools
Plaguing the tyrants
With franchised meanings and deliberations
By sweeping ideas
Beneath the corporate carpets
Of frivolity and planned take-overs
Of all that men hold dear
While all along
Dancing publicly
To the music of the cherubim
And the sensibilities
Of failed marriages and mergers
While it all adds up to the insanities
That drive men
Into the stupidity
Of the repetitiously
Orgasmic...
That,
Which makes human beings
Into the quantum
And passive energies
That allow us all
To feed
Upon the offerings
Of the mundanely hypnotic
And freely
Opportunistic
Money-making
Enemas
So easily offered
And even more easily
Received...

For once my brain can't compute what this is about but I get the jist. People( who needs em) ...the fairy story's we live and abide by...the eyemasks we have always worn and refuse to take off. Life is a pain in the arse that is held in contempt( by me 😊) and then we all sit down and pour out our moans, anger and frustion in poetic form( you)...get drunk...wake up twm( me) sometimes, ..repeat...impossibly pissed off that it's all still there!!! Love this 🤗🤗🤗

Gosh what a weave of words you have penned here today. We do live in a cosy prison, overdosed by fake comforts which serve only to distract us from our true calling. How those in power are greedy, deceptive selfish monsters, that do not care for the value of this planet, nature or their own race. That is what I felt as I read this. Reality has become a mundane, plastic counterfeit version of the real thing. We have lost our way. It is all bells and whistles that bring us emptiness at the end of the day (like when you have that enema ;) ) Nice last stanza my friend.

Hi Tony, first of all I just wanted to say sorry man, I haven't been as active as I've wanted to lately and I reckon that's gonna continue with my on going studies. Although I was blown away with this one. What I really love (and always have) about your work is how you effortlessly blend and interchange between seemingly the physical effects and societal issues of modern day and some of the spirituality behind it. I never seem to get the latter quiet right... but by reading work such as your own I do hope to get better in the future. I hope you are well and safe Tony! It's a crazy world out there
