Poem -

Anchor

I'm standing here
On edge of New York bridge
I want to jump so badly
That is all I can right now to think of

I'm taking step
Although still holding poleĀ
I know that in a moment or soĀ
It will be over....

No more pain that never leaves
No more struggle through life
No more sleepless nights
No more lonelinessĀ

I'm thinking of my mother
She is my anchor in this life
She knows how difficult it is for me
To live and stay alive

She knows my soul is very weak
She tried to help me so many times
My mother it is the only thing
That keeps me here
For now... alive
