ANCHOR AND HOLD! (Psalm 91)

You began this seemingly uncertain walk
Needing to have just a little talk
With someone who could help you mold
The world into a place you could anchor and hold!

Looking for shelter that would weather any storm
Wanting more out of life than just the norm
But truth can only be handled by one who is bold
So you decided to search for a place to anchor and hold!

Oh, to find a place where others made sanctuary
A place where you can pray when weary
Suggestions were made and you were told
"You won't find a refuge in which to anchor and hold"!

Determined to make your best efforts to lead;
Instead, the advice of a still small voice you decided to heed
He said "come to me", I have a tower abode
A place I've prepared for you to anchor and hold!

Come away with me Beloved to a kingdom free
From worry and sorrow for you shall see
All that are mine I bring to the fold!
They are content and happy to anchor and hold!

Be of good courage, you are strong and wonderfully made!
My Father has shaped and formed you and I have paid
The price for your peace and your heavy load.
Tis my shed blood that enables you to anchor and hold!

Let me tell you the truth my sweet
There are some wanderers who will never meet
The Son as he rises for life without him will take its toll;
They won't have the Holy Spirit to anchor and hold!

Take earnest heed to this great salvation!
Remember you are destined to rule and judge nations
In the land where "LIFE" lives and "LOVE" is never cold
The place you'll find ME to anchor and hold!
