I stare into the candle flame
The eerie shadows make no sound
Hearts emotion you can never tame
A lost memory cannot be found
Into the flame I quietly stare
As it calms my weary mind
Ancient mysteries we do not share
Forgotten dreams are lost in time
Candle flame bring forth your light
And help my blind eyes see
Dreams lie hidden in the night
Their full of magic and mystery
Solemn invocations that are hardly spoken
Known only by a chosen few
Sacred vows that cannot be broken
Of its origin most never knew
Its ancient texts must remain hidden
Life’s wisdom leaves no clue
This ancient knowledge is still forbidden
Secret hidden from mortals like you
Too many secrets I cannot explain
What will be will always be
Mirrors reflection is not the same
But its reflection holds the key
