Angelic Protector...

As I sit sometimes in fear, alone, with my bleeding mistrust crumbling
Over the bloodiness of my indiscretions, I pray for guidance, forgiveness
The truth of it all, my memories beating inevitabilities drums over many things
About my children, my sons, the illness in my veins, concrete with thickness
Growing deeper and deeper into depression, when, through deepest meditation
A light at the center of my soul, my vestigial third eye, sheds light upon it all
Through the gliding tranquility, of my hearts foreboding and reflection
A yearning so bright reminds me, I am not alone, and my racing thoughts, imperfections
Caused by light at the center of it all, God has sent me the divine, my Angelic Protector
To guide me, and show me, and squeeze me, and hold me, reminding me, I'm not alone
My angel comes to me as light and confidence, as truth, in the form of protection
And as its door opens, and I step into the light, from my den of dark reflection
I am sure I can get through it all, because my angelic protector is there, always
Even though I may not see, I sense its presence, watching
Keeping me perfectly aware, that I have nothing to fear, nothing to be forgiven
For there's room somewhere, for one such as I, a place, hewn, just for me
Somewhere within,
The ever-evolving
Energy,
That incredible gift,
We call,
Life...
