Angels In My Head

I don't know what you expected
God
Being mortal as I am
And... I remind you that...
You made me god
I am just your little lamb
So why then must I strive to find
The angels in my head
To rise above the very fact
That all I love is dead
For are we not all innocent
Just sheep in your command
Yet it seems you're but a farmer
God
Who causes sheep great harm
For you gifted me a little lamb
To raise my very own
To parent love and nurture in the
pastures of my home
Then you took my lamb and
slaughtered him
Took skin and flesh and bone
And there's nowt left but a
loneliness
That rages in this soul
So I won't be striving hard to find
The angels in my head
Or to rise above the very fact
That all I love is dead
And I'll not be singing praises
God
To rejoice a sweet lambs end
Nor clasp my hands in worship
God
For all those who ascend....
Too soon

Am going to read this again. You really should put all these poems into a book — I think there are many people out there who will find a place in their hearts for your words. People who suffer similar but are not gifted with words as you are. Your words can help. I know you write for YOU and have probably never entertained the idea of publishing a book...but I really think you should xx
Ah Tina you are such a support. No...I hadn't thought but you know maybe I will one day just so.
that Judd's name lives on forever in one dusty copy in a cupboard somewhere. I might need advice from you on how to do it...if and when the time ever comes. I would have to market it with a free gift of antidepressants also I think...😬😁❤
