Angels Singing

I heard an Angel singing
A voice so pure and light
I heard an Angel singing
It filled me with delight

Such a heart warming sound
As dawn begins to break
Birds twittering in tree-tops
To greet a brand new day

They dance upon the branches
Gaily fluttering their wings
And the singing of the angel
Sails softly through the wind

Magnificent and gracious
With lovely silvery wings
calling to other angels
Pray come and join me sing

Now a choir of angels
Gather all around  adding
Their sweet voices
They echo through the land

A harmony so wonderful
Enchanting in every way
A glorious throng of angels
Magnificently chanting
