Anger

Anger-
e.webb

Anger is a curious beast,
once fed, it soon but dies,
it hunkers down in a soul,
yet starved fattens in minds.
Beast of mine enemy ,grows old,
at last I have revenge,
the plated hate departs,
so vengeance sits forgave,

time netting, the beast caught,
no longer wondering loose,

from past to present in mind,
sat in a thought-to-thought
