Poem -
ANIMAL HOMES
Everyone knows a rabbit lives in a hutch
I'm sure they like it very muchΒ
The bee meanwhile has a hive to dwellΒ
I know for a fact they treat it like a hotelΒ
The horse goes to rest in their stableΒ
This is a fact and certainly not a fable Β
When the pig have finished their dayΒ
It's time the sty came into playΒ
When they are tired and want to sleepΒ
It's off to the pen for the humble sheepΒ
All animals like humans love to be free and roamΒ
Just like humans also they need somewhere to call homeΒ Β Β Β

I was reading on yahoo, that California is going to pass a law that says stores that sell pets can only sell rescued animals....Β not sure if that's a good thing or not. I wonder what the kill rate will be or if the animal will just grow old in the store. Most of the time people want unowned pets or little cute puppies.Β
I feel the love here, I have two cats. Some place to grow roots is important, but the consequencesΒ of new laws are dire on finding a good home for used animals. very well written myΒ friend, I thoroughly enjoyed the read
