What lies in the soul of an animal? 
Even if they act full of joy doesnt mean they dont have sorrow 
They feel heartbreak as well 
They may even die of a broken heart 
They know loyalty, compassion 
They know the meaning of life 
How to be an asset to their owners 
They obey and persist 
Never backtalk or abandon you 
Dont show hatred 
Every petty human emotion is beneath them 
They are our great role models
Our true loves 
Forever till the end of time 
They show us how to behave as creatures 
Soft and gentle 
Heartfelt 
Gracious 
Euphoric 
Ill never lose my respect for animals 
I know their importance 
They are strong unlike us who are weaker 
Tame unlike us who are wild 
But we come together....as great friends
