Anne Frank - too late for mercy

Anne Frank - too late for mercy

Has this earth lost its axis

I thought so when the Nazis took over ~ goodbye Anne Frank

Beautiful innocent child

Locked up in the attic of inhumanity;

Then I read the news today

About a bombing

The running,

  The wronging

The ringing in these ears

After the exploding

In the market

The dying in the markets

No more singing

Only bleeding on a

Miserable day in Bahgdad

And I say to the Lord,

Who is doing the sinning

The lying, the cheating;

The plotting; the beating

I am lost Lord

When I hear of death

I am lost in the desert

Dying of thirst

Take me Lord

Instead of the suffering children

Killed by a bomb

One black day in a market

Yet I fear my plea

Is too late for mercy
