It's our first anniversary 

that you're not here,

Though you've gone,

I feel you near.

I'm relieved the pain has left.

Now you're free,

Though within our hearts,

you'll always be.

We wanted more time,

Selfish but true.

Though you knew it was wrong,

Not the right way for you.

We miss you mum.

Until we meet again.

Then none of us shall grieve,

Or carry this pain.
