Another Chance

Every day another chance
To move on up, beyond the trance
Which seeks to keep you in your place
By staying there you'll lose the race

Then take the chance to learn some more
Don't be the victim or the bore
Although there's help for those who are
Much more is gained by striving far

An eye to what potential waits
As we have more than all the greats
We strive to copy and fail by choice
We all should find our own true voice

No other can say where we are bound
The answers may elude, as sound
One moment set, but one more glance
And all is new - another chance
