Poem -

Another day.

Would my breathing come as low

And heart forbadest turn to snow
If by chance you walked away, could I withstand the light of day

Could my senses form desire, without your kindled doating fire

Your arms are structured with great force, should your love evade with Morse

Would the road ahead be long, without your presence and loving song

In days of silence there could I , still  with love look at the sky

Without your heartbeat pleading loud , would that sky succumb to cloud

And if it rains, so shall it be , that with the cloud, no rainbow see

Or should the night become like day, and in the light turn stars away

To see them shine would I pretend, that love  was deepest at the end

And like that pot of gold there by
Would I still see the birds on high

If by chance you walk away, would I be here another day.
