Another Day

The show will go on

Though I don't know how long

I feel my body weakening

Releasing that sinking feeling

I enjoy life the best I can

Stoic resistance the only plan

To grin and bear it, come what may

Loved ones not knowing what to say.

It is realizing that all I can do

Is to reminisce about what I knew

Never will I concede defeat

For each dawn I still aim to greet 

As the beauty of it all inspires

My willingness to last seldom tires

Not yet ready to be on my way

I'm determined to see another day !
