Another tick off my bucket list⭐️

I am a minute blip on a massive mountain
Seeming so unimportant as I Iook out to the sea
Searching for the movable people on the sandy shores
Theres one thing for certain
They will not see me

As I blend in with Mother nature
I stand perfectly still
An awe inspiring emotion
An over-powering thrill
Standing solitude with nothing for company but the sheep
Climbing the steepness 
Avoiding crevasses so deep

I have conquered my inner depths
Achieving my bucket-list goal
Dragging my tiresome legs to the summit
Embracing the unique man-made pole

Whilst it proudly stands in a hole in the ground
Marking a humankind victory
Such a marvellous accomplishment
Hail this pioneer’s valedictory

I have followed in his footsteps
On my mission to reach the top
Tho the challange was beneath me
I was never going to stop

Another tick on my bucket list
I am so proud of myself
This so deserves a monumental medal
I would display on my egoistic shelf
