How many days till the drastic turn?

Did destiny decide to forsake me at the beginning?
Do we ever truly get to the happy ending?
Does keeping on, keeping on mean better days?

How does a person not just let go? 
What causes the good to out weight the bad?
When will you see me for something better than this?
Where do tears go once they have fallen?
Why am I something so easily forgotten?

Too many thoughts circle my brain
Too many hopes are now lost
Too many dreams unraveled
