Anxiety

I’m standing in front of you

Asking for you to have patience with me

I’m more broken than you can see

But you mean the world to me

I can slip back at times

My anxiety burns inside

But I’m only hoping you are fine

I want you with me all the time

And as much as my mind is in doubt

In my heart you is what it’s all about

I may have moved on

 But in my soul I know so much wrong

I can never forget what’s gone

I can only carry on

But with you is where I belong

So please hold on

You are home

And I won’t let go

I'm more loving than anyone you will ever know

I don’t live in yesterday but it won’t go away

I can only learn by my mistakes

Strong enough to fix what brakes

But that doesn’t mean I am immortal to the pain

Once you feel it

You can fear it

And I do believe with you it so much different than before

But that won’t change my mind for sure

It’s fighting with my heart

Anxiety is my weakness

But never less
