Anxiety

Anxiety

Heart Pounding
Head Spinning
Race Pulsing.
Breathe. I close my eyes.

I grasp the drink in my hand
Cool, calming condensation.
It slips,

I loosened my grip.

Glass shatters
Shards scattering everywhere.
People gasp
People scream

I bend down,
trying to control the disaster.
I cut myself
Blood bleeds blindly
Out of my finger.

I pass out.

I open my eyes.
I'm standing
I haven't moved,
Glass still in tact.
Finger still in tact.

It was just my mind.
