I haven’t been a good kisser

Since childhood

I haven’t been a good kisser lately

But anytime I kiss;

It carries an emotion so strong-

That travels through tunnels of the heart

Touching and pressing

On sensitive nerves

Causing sensitive bells to ring.

It reminds the forgotten heart

Hope for remembrance

Of all the plenteous forgotten promises.

It gives the soul an assurance of a second love

And gives hope to a dying heart.
