Apotheosis

Apotheosis

"Know ye not that ye are Gods?"

Watch the skies,Β  those endless oceans the Architect wove within dreams
And it would seem you'd be chasing Destiny, that which walks the moon.
Below lies Truth, within burns the Divine;
As above, so below, it is said,
For the Gods are men and men are small as they kneel to a reality they control;
They yearn for a Truth they already know and their hearts beat to aΒ melody their mothers sang long ago;
Their knowledge is expansiveΒ yet never enough,
They're strength is infinite and sadly scattered,
They quarrel over what should not matter
AsΒ rich menΒ  wage war andΒ  get fatter and the poor perish,
And our geniuses wallow in their arrogance;
Know ye not ye are Gods?
Shall I paint the sky red for you?
Is blue too cool of a hue for to know the Divine that lies dormant in-between?
Shall I sing you the song of our Fathers and teach you the wisdom of our mothers,
Or shall teach you to walk the Earth as fishers for men,
For the only tangible sin is the sin of ignorance,
Possessing knowledge Β vast yet still not sufficient to ease the discontent that make so many men restless?

Know ye not ye are gods?
Bow to your reality, for it wasΒ built by your hand;
LetΒ  it be your fatality to succumb to the fallacies that cause you fear.
Will you not hear the thunder or feel the rain?
Man awaits God while God awaits Man,
And Man will never see that he is truly grand until the door has been opened and his mind is not veiled,
He eyes will see and the fruits he eats will bring the knowledge he invariably seeks;
Can cannot ascend to his seat as God's right hand until he learns the use of it.

Know ye not that ye are Gods?
The Kingdom of heaven lives within you.
