APPLES

You are tall I say Can you reach
me the apple Release it for me
Maybe wash it and peel it and
Gift it me free I am too small I
say And I have not much bite I
am ailing in tall grass and Low in
the fight And I'm told that the
apple is all I might need I must
savour its flesh and Take heed of
the seed And you're tall I say tall
Can you reach it for me For the
apple is knowledge With knowledge
I'm free

Hello you...thanks so much S x
In need of a poem to read, I signed in and find this one first. How lucky I am to be following you. I may not be tall but if you stand on my shoulders you can get yourself an apple and be on your way, all the way free
You are the kindest man and I shall call on you ...once I find the tree that is. Mark... thankyou, your comments always brighten my day... hugs to you and yours X
Wow, truly I was so looking forward to where this was going and you never disappoint me dear Marion. 🌹
