~ Apricot Flowers ~

Could have been a dream line
A time when apricot flowers smiled
And all signs of dying lay still
In a casketed, sublime, rain
Making trails on the windows
And all false kings never noticing
That the time was perfect...
Could have been an escape pod
Riding the dream line to gods
Burning a golden trail across time
And into the nervous system of rhyme
Making a mockery of meter
And simpletons of molded minds
Never mind, the men in armor...
What is it really,
An experience, a day, to wonder why
An honest phrase, a life, a dimming light
One wonders why
The timing was not more perfect...
Could have been a dream line
A time when apricot flowers smiled
Where all the signs of dying lay still
In a casketed, sublime, rain....

Hi Tony,
You weave your magic as usual -
if we ever meet we would talk
well into the night!
Love,
Terry & Anne.

Hi Tony, I've read and reread and I'm not sure what this is about so I can't comment on that but I can say that it's a beautiful read....again, I can't honestly tell you why...it just spoke to me of truthful acceptance.
I think maybe it could be all about
never being able to do justice to that perfect line
'when apricot flowers smiled'
I also think maybe I'm completely off track lol 🙃😊x
