April Reprise

April Reprise

The buds unfurled to bring the leaves
That slept in silence in winters freeze
Whose voice commanded them to appear?
It’s the one that whispers in your ear

The April sunshine warms the rain
The green appears on fields and tree
Who called them all to bloom again?
It’s the one who quietly speaks to me

The sky is full of birds that flown
They call their music from the sky.
We know who called them safely home.
For we have heard him you and I.
