April Showers

Oh, its lashing

the ducks find it smashing

but me my teeth are gnashing

Break the rule of April showers

Can someone please use their powers?

Is there a dance to stop the rain?

maybe I'll just move to Spain

Ah, always greener on the other side

many things about home fill me with pride

I'd miss the lush green grass

and the humor that can be crass

must remember the rain has its uses

the farmer thankful for its juices

I'll grab my umbrella and my coat

ditch the bus and buy a boat
