Poem -

Are you offended?

Are you offended?

It isn't my job not to offend or apologize
We need to let ourselves free to express and be willing to grow from being offended
If I was not to offend anyone, I will have to know every single person out there then change myself on how to speak,
This is quite impossible.
Are you offended?
If I offend, is that not ok?
If it's not I won't do it again
But if this was done, have we not grown?
Tis' not my job to convince you that I'm right or you're wrong
Tis' our job to accept, grow and understand we're strong
Don't let words destroy or shadow our feelings
We're human, open your hearts, each and everyone can do the healing!
Let's heal
Let's not get caught up on the last word
Free speech?
From this we can still learn...
