Armistice day❤️

Simplicity tho splendorous
The solitude poppy sways
It wildly flourishes our embankments
Enlighting the dullest of days

Significance of rememberance for all our gallant men
Is so justly equitable
Sadly thousand of our soldiers lost their lives back then

Armoured sparcely in battle
Tho petrified with fear
They fought their fights in two world wars
We respect them all so dear

Next time you chance upon a poppy
Noticeably  bright
Spare your thoughts only for our heroes
Who served our country in its plight
