As the day is dawniing 💕

Well its five o’ clock everywhere on this early Wednesday morning
And I listen to the crowing Cockerel as the day is dawning
He startles me with an apprehension of no forewarning
And as I look out across the meadows new life is aborning..
Little lambs are leaping underneath yon colourful clouds
Whilst Motherhood has the Ewes licking new born shrouds
Oh how I love the freshness of this sensational Spring season
Mother nature is extra busy creating her annual new beginnings for a repetitive reason..

Such a warming poem Jill 🙂☀ as always your own sunshine shines through in your rhymes and flow. Spring is really a mesmerizing time of year, you can't help feeling new and fresh just like the blades of grass growing. Last night a poor lamb outside my window couldn't find his mum and let me tell you he was hungry! But I love it waking to the sounds of new life, seeing the colors appear. Great poem❤☀
