Candles burning bright
Candle flames glow like moonlight
Dreams go up in fire and smoke
A candle of dreams and high hopes
Candle flames burning with dreams
Dreams dissipate like incense from candles
The ashes of my dreams lay in an urn in my heart

A lament for lost and broken dreams
Dead dreams like ghosts haunt me every day
