Ashley

Ashley

I can't make them go away at times,Β
Voices whisper sweetly into me,Β
Be haste,Β
Don't think,
Love the lack of ability in thine self,Β
Sudden screams are temporary relief,Β
The mad woman rips apart herself,
An asylum dwelling within,
Wake each day to find a new you behind the wheel,
Do we fight the good fight this day, or do we indulge our weakness,
Who are you, I've never seen this face, nothing feels real,
Innocent pieces stand before you, calling out mommy, I love you,
Never knew pain like that of shame,
You scream for a god you don't believe in as a last resort,
But even he is busy,
The world keeps spinning and your standing still,
Will this nightmare ever subside
