ASKING THE WORLD

 
I ask the world for all fighting to cease 
I ask the world for love and peace 
I ask the world to respect one another 
I ask the world to treat everyone like a brother

What does the world give me in return 
Fighting and hatred the world will never learn
Personal greed and thinking only of oneself 
The world is so poorly and in terrible health

How can the world recover I hear you say 
So many bad things happening everyday 
Good things will come for this I pray 
Let's turn the sky blue instead of grey
