I was getting a beating of my life
Beaten for sins i knew nothing about
Beaten because I wake in the early hours 
Beaten because i was working to feed my family 
Beaten because the day before someone broke in to my neighbors house stole appliance.
Community believe i was the thief

Only after i was bruised to a point where someone decided it was enough 
I was asked why do i steal?
At my shock and disappointment i was a thief 
Thief due to i wake early in the morning 
Go through danger of being mugged and killed 
To be beaten for something i know nothing about
