Asylum Games

see them watch through camera eyes
scream and wail from the inside
need to wake from nightmares
a blade shall help with such dares
with none to be found around this square
look and break the mirror
red soaked fists covers ears
while white sound fills the air
shall we never wake
doomed to the dark mysterious dreams
fighting against the syringe
they say I'm trapped here for safe keeping
crumble apart if not kept safe
is it true my friend
that if we wake
-we shall lose
is this a game we all play
-gather cards and dice and jacks
as lights fade out
 a party is soon to begin.
