Poem -
at the corner
you know that it's daylight
from light that nags
the corner of your eye
you know that it's day
that you've tears on your face
that the dog needs to go out
that you're a disgrace
yet still
you keep
your eyes tightly closed
Because you can't leave this bed
Because you need to be dead
whilst the dog holds its bladder
And longs to be fed
