Ataraxia

Out there on the bay
where thee rest
where thee rest
tinctures of life pass within ye,
tears trickle
past the children
past the barking dogs,
past the heath where the thick green foliage
wraps around ye,
caught between thee,
strangled by the vines.
... down the path
out into the ocean
swallowed by the waves
sinking and drowning
wrapped in bubbles
trading life for death
into this great underneath,
where man reaches into the deepest
corals of mind
The great underneath beckons
shouts, whispers
sombers and surrounds
dripping life into ye soul
thou shalt escape the pneumonic illness
that chokes you inside
The children play hide and seek with the great underneath.
Who shall be found is the question we wait to determine,
coughing out until the very last
For whom the great underneath.

Funny you mention CATS for today I played
with more than a few at the local cat cafe;
I am off to the Bali writers festival 27 September
and if you're interested we can meet there and
enjoy tropical paradise. If we not meet there
then maybe when I travel your way.
Peace to you Wolf. >
There's a poetry slam
so maybe. More interesting though;
If you could do one of yours which
would this be?
Hello Jai...
I was swimming and drowning all at the same time here...
Awesome!
Hugs...

You'll need a lifeguard:)
To wake up to lovely moments as I just did
is a gift. Thank
You.
