Automated choices ?

Desperate for assistance
I pick up the phone
I dial the long number listening to the tone

An automated voice answers my call
I am aware that this is no help at all
Robotically taking ages I listen to this voice
It reels out numbers, it is now my choice

One for services, two for sales
Three for technical enquiries
The list of options are endless
Though irrelevance is all of these

Is there not a human to answer my plea
I can’t talk to a robot, that’s no help for me
After pressing button number four
I’m very fed up, eight options more

Take me back to the days
No automated voices
Not a multitude of silly options
With too many useless choices

What a crazy world we live in now
Though its mans own fault
Hes went & ruined it somehow
The moral of this story
Is very plain to see
When you require assistance
Take some wise advice from me

Never ring a companys help line
It will only cause you stress
After panicing for ages
Not knowing what button to press

So if you have something faulty
It has went completely on the blink
Just throw it in the bin
Buy a different model I think
