Autopilot

You can assume what's real based off of how you feel
But you can't change the facts nor alter Gods will
Consequences get delivered and served like meals
But noone wants to face the cause of their ordeals
I faced mine then took a spill
Courage landed me downhill
Now bravery is the only thing I fear
Because bravery doesn't always lead to success
But also pain, loss and stress
Reluctantly I accepted less while praying for the best
Because I didn't know what to expect
And disappointments so easy to collect that i'm in debt up to my neck
However, the tide turned when I gained your respect
Making you the object of all my love and affection
Confession, you calm my aggression 
Heaven, put me at ease when you were sent my direction
So starting with you I count my blessings
Before you life was depressing
Your presence is refreshing despite the rain
I feel good and love everything
With you; I can't complain
Nor abstain, but to break the chain
Do we have the strength
I don't have the answer but I do have faith
That God will be apart of whatever takes place
