AUTUMN WINDS

Autumn brings with it the cold winds of reality.
They help me to see what maybe has always been there.
Those self same winds have been blowing through my mind.
They have swept away uncertainty and brought clarity.

I am but a step away from fragility
a moment away from a feeling of futility
a verse away from exposing my own fallibility
four lines away from what really lies within me.
