Autumns appearance

Autumn is near or is it already here?
As the weather unravels and the days and nights get colder and the sun’s closing gets closer,
Days endings,
 Faster they approach,
One day hot and the next is so cold,
That’s how we know,
The Autumn story is beginning to be told.
As the first green leaves on the non evergreens begin to falter,
Potatoes and onions,
Parsnips and carrots all ready to harvest and praised at over an altar .
Summer colours disappearing as leaves fade from green to the colours of autumn.....
Brown,
Red and orange,
Mixed in with evergreen,
They’re the colours Autumn bring,
 And you know that summer’s colours are slowly fading.
Winds pick up,
All fierce,
Blustery and raw,
Chilling your bones,
Right to the core.
But that’s ok as the winter months are worse,
So enjoy the blustery cold winds and the changing colours of autumn earth,
As you know in winter ,
The cold that's coming,
is winters curse!
