Awake but Asleep
The screams have stopped I'm startled by the sudden silence even as my heart leaps I wake free from the voices that consumed me but the darkness starts crawling along my body suffocating me the whispers slowly plead begging to take me to sleep longing for the silence and peace once moreĀ
